Apply penetrating spray where you are tapping on the crankshaft and allow it to soak in for 30 minutes Remove all of the bolts that hold your flywheel/flexplate on. Its not much and it only does it if I take the bolt out and pull the balancer out about a 1/4 of an inch. If leave the bolt in it has no movement at all. I will probably have to cut a new key way in the crank. I was just trying to avoid pulling the engine.
