To be diagnosed with alcoholism, individuals must meet any two of the below criteria within the same 12-month period: 2 Websuppression, malignancies, and alcoholism are at particularly high risk of serious infection. Surveillance is needed to better define the burden of disease, identify and control outbreaks, as well as define and evaluate prevention strategies.
