The truck is throwing a Check engine code 70 (inlet air heater driver #1 fault> mode 13-out of calibration).

Nettet2. mar. 2024 · The intake heater light comes on and the engine will idle down to 600rpm. Wait a while and play with the throttle and it works again. Its doing it more frequently as time goes on. Already replaced ecm, and engine wire harness. One other thing is it has been emission deleted. I'm assuming that has something to do with the issues. Any ideas? Nettet24. okt. 2024 · I replaced our 250a fuse once cleared codes and came back. Researched and realized the intake transformer / solenoid for the heater was faulty. A $39 part from Freightliner fixed. Cleared codes and all good. Both are located looking down bath hatch on passenger side left of valve cover. Verify wiring in intake also

This is what you will be starting out with.. Un-plug this plug, its the MAF #2. you will be re-using this. Also, unplug the heater power supply. you wont be re-using this. NettetWe replaced it with a newer c7 with a serial number of kal45050. The problem I am having is that the intake preheater is not functioning and the check engine light is on and flashing. The pre-heater dash light does not iluminate and there appears to be no power going to the small terminal on the pre-heater relay. Also this relay is new.
