WitrynaCoed Nant Mawr's southern and eastern woodlands are dominated by a mixture of ash, wych elm and sessile oak with some sycamore. There has been very little grazing in these areas and this has allowed shrub layer, dominated by hazel but mixed with hawthorn, holly and, patchily, guelder rose and spindle to develop. WitrynaRhinog Fawr is the third highest summit in the Rhinoggydd range in Eryri National Park (Snowdonia). The two largest being Y Llethr and Diffwys. This route starts at a car park on the edge of Cwrt Forest and takes you through the woodland, following the Nant Llyn-du on an uphill that steepens once you emerge from the woods.
