Web13 Aug 2016 · There should be a retention pin holding the master cylinder to the clutch pedal and the spring behind it. The spring clips can break and if the retention pin comes out of the clutch pedal, the spring can just drop out of it's notch causing the pedal to swing freely. http://www.clarks-garage.com/shop-manual/ts-04.htm
